What does non-alcoholic actually mean?

Non-alcoholic typically refers to beverages that contain little to no alcohol. In most countries, this means the beverage contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). These drinks are designed to provide the flavors and experiences associated with alcoholic beverages, like beer, wine, and cocktails, but without the intoxicating effects.

Is there any alcohol in the drinks you sell?

For the most part, no. For some beverages (mostly craft beers and de-alcoholized wines), there are trace amounts of alcohol (less than 0.5%). It is not enough to cause a buzz or register on a breathalyzer (unless you’re pounding cases of products, ya know?). But, think about this: bread and baked goods with yeast and super ripe bananas have similar amounts (sometimes more) of alcohol as the products we sell.

What is the point?

We get this question a lot, and it's a good one! Our products are perfect for those who no longer drink or avoid alcohol for health reasons. Zero-proof drinks are popular because they allow a consumer to enjoy social events without the downsides of alcohol. You can have a tasty NA beer, a full-bodied red wine, or an alcohol-free cocktail that doesn't taste like juice, all while feeling part of the scene. Plus, many of these drinks contain health-boosting ingredients like ashwagandha, L-theanine, aloe extract, and lion’s mane mushrooms. So, you're avoiding alcohol's negative effects and benefiting from functional ingredients.

What are “functional drinks”?

Functional beverages are popular among consumers looking for convenient ways to support their overall health and well-being. Functional beverages are drinks that provide health benefits beyond basic hydration and nutritional value. They often contain additional ingredients such as adaptogens, nootropics, vitamins, minerals, herbs, amino acids, probiotics, or other nutrients designed to support specific health goals.

Are there age restrictions on purchasing and consuming your products?

Legally, no. But from ethical perspective, we don’t serve our products to anyone under 18 years old. Remember, many of the alcohol-free drinks on the market today are designed as replacements for the real thing. So our perspective is that they are alternative beverages for adults.

Do you sell hemp-derived products?

Not yet, but it’s in the plans. We are big fans of these products, as they offer safe, relaxing effects without the negative effects of alcohol. Plus, many customers enjoy the social aspect of consuming a beverage that results in “feeling something” without feeling out of control or vastly inhibited. Stay tuned!
